Vic Zhou : "I will go to any places where it is needed by UNICEF"

Q: As ambassador for UNICEF,
Do you want to say some thing on behalf of the UNICEF?
A: I have never felt as much as been a spoke person for any commercial I did before.
What I love the most is to be the spoke person for the Charity work.
Those are my true passion that I can give my love to the others.
As an artist I feel that is the real chance that I can do something meaningful to the society.
It is my way of pay back to the society

Q: Have you had a chance to visit those kids whose life has been affected by the Earthquake yet?
A: That is what we will do in the future. From now on where ever need us. We will go to visit them.

Q: Have you done anything before you become the Ambassador of UNICEF?
A: Yes I have donate small amount of money which is no worth to mention...
All I want to do yes to lend a helping hand to the needy with everyone else in the world.

Q: ZaiZai when did you become the Ambassador for UNICEF?
A: When? When I become the Ambassador the Earthquake has not happened yet

Original plan for today's event was come accept and thanks the donation given by the comp.
But not for the Earthquake victim.
As coincidence the Earthquake hit us @ the time after I become the ambassador for UNICEF.
It is like a bomb blown up.
I mean it hit everyone so hard like a hard slam on our face.I live in Taiwan but I felt it.
All of us started to understand what is Unity/Big Love.
It is not inside fighting among each other for some thing meaningless.
It is use my influrance and my power to help raise as many help for the victim of Sichuan people.
That is the real important thing of all.

Q: Any plan for the coming days?
A: I will go to any places where it is needed by UNICEF.
That includes the kids in Sichuan or other places.
I will go visit them. Use my action to show them how much I care about them.

Q: Are you going to combine your acting work with your job as the Ambassador for the UNICEF?
A: Before I took this job.
I have already be the spoke person for the Syinlu Charity Foundation ( http://web.syinlu.org.tw/syinlu20/).
It is for the children who has delayed development problem.
Also I have done a ot charity in the public or in private.
One example is two years ago when there was a major Earthquake happened in Japan.
I brought the love and care from Chinese people to friends in Japan @ one of my event in Japan.
They were all very impressed.
This time it just happened I was there for my 2nd VIC event in Japan.
Without my knowledge friends in Japan have already started to make donation to the victim in Sichuan.
It really touched me. You realize what is the true power of LOVE.
Me and also other members of F4 have been constantly doing something to help out the weak and needed people.
Been an artist I realized I do have the power to use my influrance to help a lot of people.
I feel very privileged that I can do it.

Q: You mentioned that you ave been spoke person for Syinlu now for UNICEF.
Have you ever thought took some class to learn how to deal with those children?
So you will be better prepared for your job because the children will have some very serious emotional problem?
A: I think I will do more study so I can do a better job as a spoke person.
Also this is a familiar territory to me too. As you all know I played major role in 《MARS神》 about 5 years ago.
Main part of the story has to deal with a lot psychological issues.
Because of that I have went to certain places to learn more about people who are disturbed by psychological problem.
So to me that will the focus point of my job as the Ambassador of UNICEF.
To pay more attention to the emotional aspect of the problem in those children.

Q: Already made any plan to visit the children yet?
A: No thing has been confirmed yet. But I am sure I will do some thing very soon.

Q: Any suggestion for those children? What can be done for their recovery emotionally?
A: The expert will hope you do some drawing.
That is why we suggest donate some material that children can use it for drawing and painting.
Because through drawing you can see what is really going on inside of their head and mind.
Then we can know how to help them in a more effective way.
Also you can tell if what we have been doing is helping them or not. Because drawing will not lie.
They can express their sadness/frustration/pain and sorrow through painting or drawing.
It is a very helpful way of help them to recover from such a tragedy

Q: Can you make an appeal?
A: OK...
We have been all united as Chinese even all the people in the whole world because of the tragedy in Sichuan.
I am only a very small part of this.
A lot of people have been helping out as nameless hero with such big love in their heart.
Please remember we need to keep doing so continuously for life time.
Beside to collect as much money as we can so they can rebuild their home.
We also have to pay serious attention to their emotional state.
Also I hope you can help the friends who has been affected by this tragedy.
We need to let them know face it with bravery. Let them know we really care and love them.
It is not telling them:"I am so sad about what happened to you."
We need to tell them:
"We love you and there are a lot of people in the whole world who loves and care about you!!
I will use y smile to bring happiness back to your life. Bring back those good thing back to your life"
In order to d so we need everyone's help and support.
Let's all start to do what ever we can to help them!!!!!!!
