WHAT: Clad in period garb, JJ cosied up to Taiwanese supermodel Sonia Sui on Wednesday to shoot a TV ad for the cyber game Red Cliff Online. They play the envied couple Zhou Yu and Xiao Qiao, from the Chinese classic Romance Of The Three Kingdoms.
On comparisons to Hong Kong actor Tony Leong who plays Zhou Yu in the movie Red Cliff, JJ said his own version is younger, more lively and more cartoony.
JJ added in a media release that he used to fantasise about acting in martial arts films, so he's happy that he got a chance to transform into a sword-bearing general this time.
But he couldn't get used to his ponytail wig - it made him look like a kid, he said.
