MTV Asia Awards nominations announced, Jay Chou this year doesn't enter

On the 13th the nominations for the "2008 MTV Asia Awards" were announced, the nominees for the Most Popular Artist in the Taiwan area is S.H.E., Mayday, Jolin Tsai and Alan Luo.

This is the 5th year of the "MTV Asia Awards", Jay Chou, who has won it twice, has produced excellent results last year in movies, concerts and his new album, but this year he hasn't entered, he isn't competing at all, naturally he won't have the chance to face off with Jolin Tsai. Apart from this, Hong Kong heavenly king Andy Lau, Eason Chan and Leo Ku, Hong Kong heavenly queen Joey Yung are once again nominated this year for "Hong Kong Most Popular Artist Award", a battle between 3 kings and 1 queen. "The "2008 MTV Asia Awards" is to be held in Malaysia's Genting Highlands entertainment city Arena of Stars on the 2nd of August.
