Vincent Fang: Jay Chou's new album is only missing one song

In the afternoon on the 5th of September, the heavenly king class lyricist Vincent Fang was a guest on "fans web", he talked about the interesting things that happened working with Jay Chou, he also personally explained his lyrics to fans. In the chat there was a lucky fan who got to talk directly to Vincent Fang, to discuss queries with him and share his experiences in writing.

His good partner Jay Chou has already realised his dream of being a director, to the question on when Vincent Fang would film a movie, Vincent Fang revealed he's already planned to be a director and film a movie, he'll film it this year in October in Taiwan, it'll be about love, the male and female leads have already been determined. When asked if the male lead was Jay Chou, Vincent Fang didn't reveal it, leaving everyone with a bit of suspense.

In the interaction section, Vincent Fang talked to a lucky fan and answered his question. It was about the song with the deepest impression when working with Jay Chou, Vincent Fang said: "The deepest impression with working with Jay Chou was actually on the song "Wife", because there was a rap at the front of "Wife", I thought it was a pity so I asked him to give me more time, because I can make the lyrics more beautiful. But he's the artist, he thought the mood when he sung it was very right. I thought we had bigger fights back then."

Concerning questions on Jay Chou's new album which all fans care about, for the first time Vincent Fang revealed that Jay Chou's new album is only missing one song, concerning that song that's not finished, Vincent Fang exposed the fact: "That song is a Chinese style song. Because it so happens I have some things to do on my side so I couldn't write it, I write all the way from Tianjin to here, when I get back I'll write again. A majority of the lyrics were written in Taipei, if everything goes smoothly for this song, I'll finish it here. Tomorrow I have to go to Shanghai, but I'll finish writing it today, I don't want to drag it to Shanghai." Seems like the piece of work that's travelled the most cities ever for Vincent Fang will come out soon along with Jay Chou's new album.

When you think of Vincent Fang, you'll think of Jay Chou, it's the same the other way round, as to the question of who made whom, maybe it's a question that will never have an answer, but we look forward to the two of them continuing their path, spreading "Chinese style" all around the world, we hope Vincent Fang can create even better works with Jay Chou to give to all the fans.
