To get that feel from "Winter Sonata" starring Bae Yong Jun, Show "Xiao Zhu [Little Pig]" Lo was going to have to suffer. Filming in the 32ºC weather in a Thailand mine shaft wearing a thick winter coat, while salt flakes fall from above onto his head, as he and Alice Tseng feign love an feign passion.
This is a 4-consecutive commercial love story, where the first episode has aired. Show had recently gone to Thailand and spent three days to film the commercial, which will be set to air in November/December. But there's a sneak preview exclusive for everyone to see. Being an entertainer is undoubtedly hard, filming a commercial in the scorching weather of Thailand, on top of the already heated mine shaft. The company also shipped in hundreds of tons of salt to form a snowy scenery, along with voices racketing and the lighting, the heat is hard to imagine.
Show wore a heavy, winter coat, but inside he only had on a wife-beater, but everything below his neck was covered in sweat. The salt that was scattered onto his head was melted as it touched the heat, and dripped down in the form of salt water into his eyes. It was stung so much that Show started crying out loud in pain. But as the professional he is, he worked hard to act out a wintry expression, he even decided that the sweating could help sweat off the 2 kgs he had gained recently, "This isn't hard work, the most painful was filming the potato chips commercial suspended in wires, 'Little little pig' really hurts!"
As the mine shaft became a vacation getaway, female co-star Alice Tseng was also wrapped up in a winter suit. But in following the script, in the last two episodes, the two of them don't have such close scenes, the hugging photos will also not appear in the commercial. Even though in private, the comical Show will also keep a good distance from "J girl," not much interaction. After the hard work, Show rolled in another $100 million into his pockets.
