Who has made Jay Chou want to help out? It's Gary

Who has made Jay Chou want to help out? Who has made Jay Chou want to sing on a song with him? He is Gary Yang! People who are familiar with Nan Quan Mama will know he is a first generation member of the group, he's also the recording engineer Jay Chou has been working with all along.

During the days after he retreated to the background, Gary Yang didn't stop making music, in fact he released many good songs, "Peony River" which everyone knows, "What Can I Do" also originated from him, this time Gary Yang will be releasing his work digitally for the first time, 4 good songs that he wrote, produced, recorded, accompanied and sang the backing and front vocals for, Jay Chou has given his support and worked with him on the first song "Moonlight", he wants everyone to get to know Gary Yang's music once again.

The style of "Moonlight" is a slow romantic song that has a bit of a jazz flavour, the reason the two are working together on this song was because one time after Jay Chou came back from abroad he bumped into Gary Yang at the office producing the song "Moonlight", Jay Chou was surprised but after listening to it he thought it had a lot of feel, so out of interest he went into the recording studio and did a duet for the part: "In the moonlight, it's raining, in the alley, I keep you, you say I'm willing / The passion within your eyes, can you call that being on guard, the name on the necklace, is it more beautiful in the rain?" It matched the original song very well, plus it added in a mysterious attraction, they are indeed musical partners with a lot of understanding for each other!

Jay Chou smiled saying: "For the rap in "Moonlight", I only heard it for a bit and took the initiative and went into the recording studio to sing it, it's very rare for me to come without being invited, it was very impulsive." When Gary Yang was singing this song he sang it in a lazy way to express the romantic and drunk jazz style, he even pressed on his throat to sing it in a naughty way, it was very unique.

Not only did Jay Chou leave a shadow of his "voice", when they filmed the MV he also helped out and got into shots, when they had free time from filming he even naughtily took on the role of the photographer and photographed Gary, he advised Gary on poses, he used his own experiences and said: "When you're talking don't keep blinking, the paparazzi love to catch this kind of shot."

But, artists don't pay much attention to appearances, when filming the MV Gary Yang actually didn't wear any makeup, it was just natural, Jay Chou coordinated with him and just wore a simple T-shirt and jeans when he got into the shot, Jay Chou didn't forget to give recommendations saying: "Like Nan Quan Mama there's a bit of me in there, maybe it's friends getting mixed together, but Gary doesn't get influenced by me much, I've heard his songs this time and I like them a lot, he's a star for the future, he's not good at talking just like me back then."

Under the slump of the record market, Gary Yang has decided to use the most direct and simple way, he's going to let everyone get his music through legal digital downloads. As the Moon Festival approaches, under the "Moonlight" let us all enjoy the beautiful Autumn coolness that Jay Chou and Gary Yang have brought along.
